Several changes made to the Drua side to face the Eagles in NRC

Fiji Airways Drua coach Senirusi Seruvakula has made several changes in his starting lineup, resting a few key players in their National Rugby championship clash against the Eagles this weekend.

The front row sees Mesulame Dolokoto earn his first start in the number 2 jersey alongside the combination of Joeli Veitayaki and Alivereti Rabukawaqa who started in Sydney.

Jone Navori debuts in the backrow at number 7 with Captain Mosese Voka moving across to 6.

Energetic scrum half Frank Lomani will be rested with Serupepeli Vularika taking the reins with Alivereti Veitokani back into fly half position to steer the Drua attack.

A new look back line combination will see Aporosa Tabulawaki and Levani Kurumudu on the wings with Jone Manu maintaining his spot at 12 and Apete Daveta moving into the centres at number13.

Apisalome Waqatabu returns to the start list at fullback.

Cyril Reece has been rotated out of the match day squad welcoming Apisalome Vota for a debut appearance off the bench.

Seruvakula has told his players to be on alert as they draw closer to the finals of the National Rugby Championship.

Seruvakula says they must continue to produce progressive result in order to host their first home semifinal.

“This is very important for us. The two home games and the last game in Perth against the Vikings and we not going to underestimate NSW. We just need to go in with the right mind set to produce the goods there.”

The Fiji Drua will meet the Eagles at 3pm at Suva’s ANZ Stadium on Saturday before they meet Canberra Vikings and the Western Force in the next few weeks.
