Barring any upset, Fiji will meet series leaders New Zealand in the cup quarterfinals or semi-finals.

Baber had re-iterated the need for consistency and the urgency to improve their discipline if they are to have a chance of claiming gold in Las Vegas.

Meanwhile, Sevuloni Mocenacagi has been named as the 13th player and it’s also a mammoth task for his younger brother Isoa Tabu who will be the new face in the 12 member team.

Fiji last won the Las Vegas 7s in 2016 beating Australia in the final 21 – 15.

The Fiji 7s side kicks off its campaign against Scotland at 11.22am today, and will meet Wales at 2.23pm before playing Australia at 7.52am tomorrow in its last pool match.

The Cup quarters begin at 1.46pm tomorrow, semis at 9.12am next Monday and the Cup final will be played at 12.30pm.
