Baber it is important they get enough rest ahead of the Hong Kong tournament next month.

“Jerry and Kali both have issues with knee. They’ve been to the hospital today. Kali has had some fluid drained off his knee as well. It’s a low emphasis in terms of injury. Obviously this week and the matter of rugby they’ve played this year and the amount that have trained, it’s important that they’re given enough time to recover.”

Meanwhile, Baber has brought in three players to be part of the training squad ahead of the Hong Kong tournament.

The Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 5th to the 7th of next month.

Fiji are top seeds in Pool C and faces rivals New Zealand, Australia and Kenya.
