Tuwai made history after fifth Hong Kong win

Fiji Airways 7s playmaker Jerry Tuwai has made history as the first player to win the Hong Kong title five years in a row.

This follows Fiji’s successful outing at So Kon Po over the weekend.

Jerry Tuwai is the only remaining player who was part of the winning Fijian squad from 2015 that secured back to back titles.

Former Fijian 7s Captain Osea Kolinisau took to twitter congratulating Fiji for making history.

Kolinisau tweeted “Waking up with a sore body after a tough game and tough loss yesterday to the News that Fiji has done it 5 years in a row in Hong Kong 7s is so sweet and just uplifts your spirit.”

Meanwhile, Fiji has moved up to second place of the series standings with 123 points, seven points behind leader USA.
