Fiji Airways 7s playmaker Jerry Tuwai has made history as the first player to win the Hong Kong title five years in a row.
This follows Fiji’s successful outing at So Kon Po over the weekend.
Jerry Tuwai is the only remaining player who was part of the winning Fijian squad from 2015 that secured back to back titles.
Former Fijian 7s Captain Osea Kolinisau took to twitter congratulating Fiji for making history.
Waking up with a sore body after a tough game and tough loss yesterday to the News that Fiji has done it 5 years in a row in Hong Kong 7s is so sweet and just uplifts your spirit. Vinaka boys na yalo na vakabauta kei na cakacaka #teamveilomani #Historymakers #5yearsandcounting
