Fiji Airways men’s 7s speedster Aminiasi Tuimaba is fit and up for selection for the Las Vegas and Vancouver tournaments next month.

Tuimaba was ruled out of the Sydney 7s earlier this month after sustaining an injury in the last pool match against Samoa.

Coach Gareth Baber says they have been keeping a close eye on all the players and will ensure they are fully fit before the next World Rugby sevens leg.

“Obviously we had a lot of injuries with a player ban as well which didn’t help but fortunately we can come back to Fiji and assess those injuries. Nothing was as serious as we suspected, which is great news for us so all those players are back into full training having had some recovery and some medical treatment during that period.” 

Fiji is pooled with Wales, Australia, and Scotland in the Las Vegas 7s which will be held from the 2^nd to the 4^th of next month in USA.
