Top rugby sevens teams including Yamacia, Army Green, Wardens, Uluinakau and Westfield will be participating in the Nadroga sevens scheduled on December at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka.
The tournament aims for grassroots development of rugby in Nadroga, promoting equal level playing field for women and men and serves as a qualifying round to next year’s Coral Coast 7s.
The top four teams from the under 19, open women’s and men’s categories will gain direct qualification to Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s 2020.
The tournament features open men and women division as well as youth divisions from the Boys under 13 to Under 19 divisions.
A total of 140 teams will be participating in the tournament.
The four days tournament will kick start from the 4th to the 7th of December at Sigatoka’s Lawaqa Park.
