Fiji Airways men’s 7s utility back Terio Tamani is expected to play a huge role in their bid to defend the Hamilton title in New Zealand this weekend.

Fiji 7s Coach Gareth Baber says Tamani has improved a lot and has been playing a key role in the team during their training sessions.

“What Terio Tamani is good at, he is humble and kept working hard. He is very careful about what he does and he is always one of those one who’s working on his game, like kicking, passing and tackling.”

The Fiji 7s side sits fifth on the World Rugby Series standing with 35 points, two behind second placed New Zealand while USA leads with 38 points after the first leg.
