Fiji Airways men’s 7s captain Kalione Nasoko has commended the support of the Fijian fans who turned out in numbers at Day One of the Las Vegas tournament.
Nasoko says Fijian supporters play a vital role for them when they’re in action on the field in any 7s tournament around the world.
“Well as you can see there’s a lot of Fijians travels everywhere we go all over the world and their presence always boosts the performance of the boys and we want to thank the fans and the crowd of Vegas. It keeps changing every year and we’re excited.”
Fiji will meet Australia at 7.52am today in its last pool match.
The Cup quarters begin at 1.46 later this afternoon, semi-finals begin at 9.12am tomorrow and the Cup final will be played at 12.30pm.
