Serevi says he is trying to create a game culture for Russia and get them to be one of the giant-killers in the 7s series.

Russia was relegated from the series at the end of last season and will play in the qualifiers in Hong Kong.

The Russians are pooled with Uruguay, Jamaica, and Ireland and the winner will get a spot in the 7s series.
