Semi Radradra

Semi Radradra is giving back to his community in Taveuni by sponsoring around $20,000 and consolations prizes for a 7s tournament next week.

Radradra was first noticed playing for his home-based team Somosomo Sharks a few years ago.

Tournament Organiser Saki Veitogavi says that Radradra has initiated Youth Development at grassroots level prioritizing youths in Taveuni by showcasing talents through rugby as the theme for the tournament.

40 Men’s and 10 Under 20 teams will be participating and it will also feature Women’s Netball Competition.

The winner in the Men’s division will walk away with $8,000 while the Runner up will collect $4,000.

In the U20 the Cup winner will collect $2,500 while the winner in the Women’s Netball will take home a $1,000.
