Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber has confirmed players are recovering well from injuries they sustained from last weekend’s outing at the Las Vegas tournament.

Baber says Paula Dranisinukula has recovered from his calf injury and Jerry Tuwai has also recovered after sustaining an ankle injury in Vegas.

He says the players are now adjusting to the cold and freezing weather conditions in Vancouver and are preparing for another outing this weekend.

Fiji is pooled with Kenya, Canada and Samoa in Vancouver.

Fiji plays Kenya in its opening pool match at 5.36am Sunday, they will then battle Canada at 9.08am before taking on Samoa in its last pool match at 1.02pm.

The Cup quarterfinals will start at 6.08am next Monday, Cup semifinals start at 10.08am next Monday and the Cup final will kick off at 1.19pm next Monday.
