New Zealand 7s captain Tim Mikkelson says they have forgotten their victories in their first two pool games and will start fresh in Day 2 of the Las Vegas tournament today.

NZ earlier defeated Canada 33-19 and hammered Samoa 33-0 in its pools games yesterday.

Mikkelson says the players know what is expected from them and they are preparing well for Spain.

‘’I suppose Day 2 we will start all over again we come here and we do our warm-ups and we have our last game against Spain and we try to win it.”

New Zealand takes on Spain at 8.36am.
