The New Zealand and Samoa 7s side have both booked a spot in the Singapore 7s quarterfinal after they both defeat Spain and Japan in its pool matches.

Samoa hammered Japan 57-5 in its first pool match and later thumped Spain 40-14 in its second pool match.

Meanwhile, New Zealand slammed Spain 53-0 and later thrashed Japan 43-0 in its second pool game.

Both teams have so far bagged six points each after their two successful outings.

They will be going head to head at 9.16pm to decide the victor of Pool D later on tonight.
