The New Zealand 7s side has shifted its focus to its next pool match against Kenya in the Hong Kong tournament.

Player Sam Dickson says they made some errors in their opening match against Australia and they will work on it before this afternoon’s clash.

“Australia is a great team and they showed it and we showed some characters which were not perfect but we managed to come out with the win.”

New Zealand will battle Kenya at 4.51 this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Fiji needs another win in order to secure a quarter final spot tomorrow.

Fiji will meet Australia at 5.13pm today, before taking on New Zealand at 8.55pm
