Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive John O’Connor says it is an opportune time for the new players in the Fiji Airways men’s 7s to step up and cement their spot in future.

O’Connor says with Amenoni Nasilasila and Vatemo Ravouvou dropped plus Paula Dranisinukula injured, the others should step up.

“It’s a great opportunity for the young upcoming players. They need to put their hands up. We are preparing for the Olympic and this is the opportunity for them to shine.”
