National 7s rugby coach Gareth Baber

National 7s rugby coach Gareth Baber has a fair idea of what he wants at the Oceania 7s in Fiji next month.

The tournament is just two weeks away and Baber says he knows the makeup of his squad.

Baber adds the Oceania 7s will give him a fair idea of who will be part of the 2019/2020 World Series.

“We don’t actually play in the full tournament because we have qualified for the Olympics we are in a blessed position to then possibly look at some combinations I wanna have a look at some new players who have done well that possibly could have exposure at that level playing at the ANZ against the likes of New Zealand and Japan”.

The Oceania 7s will be held at the ANZ Stadium in Suva from the 7th to the 9th of next month.
