Fiji Airways men’s 7s star Amenoni Nasilasila will not be part of the squad in the 2018/19 world rugby 7s series until his fate is decided by the court.

Nasilasila is charged with one count of rape and was issued an interim Domestic Violence Restraining Order.

Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive John O’Connor says Nasilasila will not be part of the training squad and will not travel with the squad in any 7s tournament at this moment

He is alleged to have raped a 24-year-old woman in Olosara, Sigatoka on the 22nd of last month.
