The next two weeks will be interesting for the Fiji Airways Men’s 7s side.
Waisea Nacuqu is back at training along with Terio Tamani.
Nacuqu who was earlier ruled out of the season with a broken collarbone at the Las Vegas 7s looked sharp at training and may be considered for the London and Paris 7s.
Tamani on the other hand did not feature in the later stages of the Singapore 7s last month but was running well with the national squad.
Coach Gareth Baber says he does not want to rush things especially when players are recovering.
“In terms of their rehab, their fitness level and how they are progressing but it’s important that it’s done properly, it’s important that we don’t rush players back. But they need to be honoring that position that they get. The privilege that they get – for being here in the first place and.”
The London 7s tournament will run through the 25th to the 27th of this month.
