We are still trying to get used to Gareth Baber’s status in Fiji says Danielle Baber.

Speaking to FBC News yesterday during the Fiji 7s team celebration in Nawaka, Gareth’s wife says as a family, they are still adjusting to their new lives in Fiji, despite it being 3 years.

“No not at all it’s quite surreal because he’s just Gareth but everyone else recognizes him immediately and it even happens to the family now.”

Danielle also believes that her husband has one of the toughest jobs in the world, as rugby fans in Fiji are very passionate.

However she says, they continue to support Gareth in any way they can.

The 48-year-old says that it will only get more challenging with next year being Olympics however she has faith in her husband and whichever players will represent Fiji.

Gareth and Danielle Baber have been married for more than 20 years and have 3 children.
