National rugby 7s coach Gareth Baber says the team is in a good place heading into the London 7s which starts tomorrow.

Speaking from London, Baber says he saw something special after having his first session with the team in a week.

Baber will release his 12 member side for the London 7s tonight.

Players like Jerry Tuwai, Aminiasi Tuimaba, Ratu Meli Derenalagi, Vilimoni Botitu, Paula Dranisinukula and Josua Vakurunabili are sure starters for Fiji this weekend.

‘It was a blessing in disguise’.

This is the comments by Fiji Airways 7s coach Gareth Baber after not spending a few days with the team due to a bacterial infection.

Baber who joined the team two days ago says his absence can bring something special out of the players and management.

Fiji plays Kenya at 9:36pm tomorrow, meets France 12:42am Sunday and the final pool game against Samoa at 3:48am.
