Fiji Rugby Union Chief Executive John O’Connor says there are other young players in the national 7s extended squad who have been trying to make it into the team this season.

O’Connor says seeing the ways Aminiasi Tuimaba, Vilimoni Botitu and Ratu Meli Derenalagi played, he feels their development program is on track.

Gareth {Baber} has a total list of 30 players and they usually come in camp and go. They usually train when the team is away and they continue with their normal programs. So when he comes in he will then get a view of what the players were going through.

The Fiji 7s team returns tomorrow from South Africa.
