The Fijiana 7s team coach Saiasi Fuli says the team has prepared even better for the 2019/2020 Sevens series compared to last season.

Fuli says he had joined the team halfway through last year but this year has been with the squad from the beginning.

Coach Fuli believes they have the right mix of technical staff and senior players to guide the team to the right path.

“We have Ice Katonibau, Jim Volavola, Naiqelevuki, they have been helping for the last five weeks. It really motivates the girls in terms of their preparation and awareness and the intensity and the positive contribution they do in the training.”

The 2019/2020 Women’s 7s series starts this weekend in Glendale, USA.

The Fijiana start their campaign against Canada on Sunday at 4.15pm in their first pool match.
