FRU Chief Executive John O’Connor

The Fiji Rugby Union has commended the effort made by the Fiji Airways men’s 7s team in Sydney over the weekend.

FRU Chief Executive John O’Connor says there are few things that they need to improve on and hoping they will be out firing in the next 7s leg in Las Vegas.

“The boys gave their all. Winning Hamilton and try to win back to back in Sydney is tough and they did their best and I know they will just have to learn from their mistake and focus on the next round.”

Meanwhile, the national team is pooled with Australia, Wales and Scotland for the Las Vegas 7s which will be held from 2nd to the 4th of next month in US.
