The Fiji Rugby Union has now confirmed that former Fiji 7s captain Kalione Naosko is back in the country.

In an exclusive interview, FRU Chief Executive John O’Connor revealed to FBC Sports that Nasoko’s contract didn’t go through as expected due to injury.

O’Connor says FRU will assist Nasoko before Edinburgh can reconsider him.

The FRU CEO adds Nasoko will now try to work his way back into the national 7s side.

Nasoko left the country two weeks ago to join Viliame Mata at his Edinburgh club but it didn’t turn out to his favor.
