Fijiana wary of Australia at Pacific Games

The Fiji Women’s 7s team will be keeping close eyes on rival Australia at the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa.

The two teams are in separate pools and barring any upsets, the two could face-off in the final.

While the Fijiana will be trying to retain its title, Australia who ranked 4th in the HSBC 7’s will be gunning to snatch it.

Fijiana coach Saiasi fuli has been putting together an improved side and they are also wary of the threats from other teams.

Even though we are coming from the series and the rest of the teams that are taking part in the Pacific Games are not part of the series, but they always join through wild cards, especially Papua New Guinea and Samoa.

They are pooled alongside, Papua New Guinea, Nauru and Solomon Islands.
