The Fijiana 7s side is in danger of relegation if they don’t perform well in France this weekend.
The Saiasi Fuli coached side will need to put in extra work in the last round of the current series that will be played in France tomorrow.
They are currently 10th in the series standings.
Fiji will need to at least topple China to secure a third best team position from its pool to qualify for a quarterfinal match.
Failing to do so will see Fiji dropped to the Tier 2 of the HSBC Women’s Rugby.
They are drawn in a tough pool and will face USA, China and host France.
Team Captain Rusila Nagasau says this is an important round of the tournament for the side, as it will decide if they remain in the top 10 of the rankings.
