The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side have bowed out of the Kitakyushu 7s after losing its third pool match to England last night.

The Fijiana side were dealt another blow by England 35-15 suffering a third consecutive defeat in Japan.

They were thumped by Ireland 31-10 in its first pool game before being thrashed by USA 31-35 yesterday afternoon in its second pool match

Currently ranked 10th in the Women’s series standing, the Fijiana team is unlikely to finish top four of the series and book an automatic qualification to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Meanwhile, in the Kitakyushu cup quarter-finals, Canada will meet Russia, USA plays New Zealand, Australia takes on England, and France is set to play Ireland.
