Fiji under 18 sevens side had their scrimmage session today at Bidesi grounds gearing up for the World School Sevens Rugby tournament in New Zealand.
This will be the first time an under 18 Fiji sevens side will take part in the tournament.
Powerhouse forward Vuate Karawalevu says the team is expecting tough competition from the New Zealand team in the tournament.
“We are expecting a really hard and tough competition. We know it won’t be easy but we’ll try our best and let God do the rest.”
The team hopes for a good outing in the tournament and to come out victorious.”
Fiji is pooled with New Zealand, National Indigenous Australia and USA.
The World School Sevens Rugby tournament will be played in New Zealand from the 13th to the 14th of this month.
