Fiji to reset as players target the series title

The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team arrived in Nadi last night after winning the Hamilton title and finished fourth at the Sydney tournament.

Captain Kalione Nasoko says the side will go for a week break and will then work on their weaknesses which were exposed in Australia over the weekend.

Star half-back Jerry Tuwai who displayed a courageous performance for the side says they need to win the next two tournaments in Las Vegas and Vancouver to remain on track for the World Rugby series title.

Meanwhile, Coach Gareth Baber is expected to arrive later in the week.

The Fiji 7s side sits third on the standings with 72 points while New Zealand and USA share the top spot with 76 points each.

The national team is pooled with Australia, Wales and Scotland for the Las Vegas 7s which will be held from 2nd to the 4th of next month in USA.
