Fiji to face South Africa in Cape Town 7s semifinal

Alosio Naduva scored two tries for Fiji against Spain in the the Cape Town 7s cup quarterfinal

The Fiji Airways men’s 7s team will face South Africa in the Cape Town 7s semifinal.*

The Kalione Nasoko captain side demolished Spain 46-7 in the quarterfinals.

Fiji led 24-7 at half time with tries to Waisea Nacuqu, Kalione Nasoko, JerryTuwai and Sevuloni Mocenacagi.

Fiji came back with the same phase in the second half as captain Nasoko scored his second try with Ben Vota getting one and Alosio Naduva crossing the try line twice.

On the other hand, South Africa defeated Scotland 21-12 to book a semifinal spot.

Fiji will face South Africa at 3.34 this morning in the first semifinal.

In the second semifinal, New Zealand will take on USA at 3:56 this morning.

New Zealand outclassed Australia 26-17 in the third quarterfinal while USA edged England 19-12 in the final cup quarterfinal match.

The final will kick-off at 6.44 this morning.
