Vilimoni Botitu on his way to the try line against Japan

The Fiji 7s side was tested by Japan SDS in their second pool match of the Oceania 7s at the ANZ Stadium in Suva even though they won 31-0.

Napolioni Ratu, Vilimoni Botitu and Aminiasi Tuimaba struck for Fiji in the first half with a try each as the national side led 19 nil.

Japan managed to tighten up their defences in the second spell conceding two tries with captain Waisea Nacuqu and Tusiate Matai touching down for Fiji.

Fiji will play New Caledonia and the All Blacks 7s tomorrow.
