Fiji will meet New Zealand in the Cup Quarterfinals of the Las Vegas 7s.
This comes after Fiji finished second in its pool match, losing 26-15 to a tough Australian outfit in its last game.

Australia’s Jeral Skelton crossed Fiji’s whitewash in the 2nd minute to lead Fiji 7-0.
Fiji responded with an unconverted try in the 3rd minute to play catch up to Australia.
A dominant performance from Australia sees them extending their lead 12-5 at half-time.

Simon Kennewel, and Lewis Holland scored a try each for Australia in the second spell to extend their lead.
However, Fiji replied with two tries through Paula Dranisinukula and Terio Veilawa but was not enough to match Australia.

Meanwhile, New Zealand emerge as leaders of pool A defeating Spain 19-7.
The Kiwi side dominated the entire match leading 14-0 at half time.
The Cup quarters begin at 1.46pm today, semis at 9.12am tomorrow and the Cup final will be played at 12.30pm.
