Jerry Tuwai on attack for Fiji in Dubai 7s
The Fiji 7s side will have to come up with something special if they are to make it out of their pool in the Cape Town 7s in South Africa this weekend.
This is after the national side was drawn in the same pool with the hosts and Dubai 7s champion South Africa.
Fiji will not only have to worry about South Africa as the 2018/2019 World Series runners up USA is also in the same pool along with Japan who gave Fiji a hard time in Dubai.
The Paula Dranisinukula captained side will face USA in the first match on Friday before taking on South Africa and Japan on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s side is in 9th place on the World Series points standings of round one in Dubai yesterday.
This means Fiji made its worst start in World Series history since it started in 1999.
