Jerry Tuwai scored the first try for Fiji against South Africa
The national Men’s 7s side went down to South Africa 26-14 in their second pool match of the Cape Town 7s.
Fiji drew first blood through Jerry Tuwai straight after Seabelo Senatla was sent off for a repeated infringement.
South Africa conceded successive penalties and as a result, Vilimoni Botitu was put through a gap by World Rugby Rookie of the year Meli Derenalagi.

Rosco Specman put the home side within striking distance with a converted try as they hit half time with Fiji leading 14-7.
Senatla redeemed himself straight after half time with a try before Ruan Nel grabbed another for the hosts.
The kick-off was an area South Africa exposed.
Justin Geduld was rewarded with a try after Fiji failed to again look after the restart.
The national side defeated USA in their first pool match 28-14.
Fiji will play Japan in its last pool match at 6:35 this morning and will need to win with more points to book their place in the quarterfinal.
