The Fiji 7s will be returning to camp this afternoon to prepare for the Hamilton 7s in New Zealand which will take place on the 26th and 27th of this month.

The players were reminded of certain rules and discipline before they broke for the festive season.

Coach Gareth Baber says after the short break, all players need to be on the same page.

Baber says he will closely monitor their progress and they’re aware of what is expected of them.

“Nobody has the right to wear the white jersey. They have got to do the right things off the pits. They have to do the right thing in their training environment and when they get the opportunity to hold on to that jersey they’ve got to hold on to it. So everything I look at is geared towards making sure that they do that. And then obviously that builds up respect and trust within the group.”

The Fiji 7s Gladiators is aiming to defend their title in Hamilton for a back-to-back victory.
