Fiji Airways 7s assistant Coach Kane Jury is confident that a Fiji 7s tournament will be a hit.

This follows the news of the advanced discussions between the Fiji Rugby Union and the NZR to alternate hosting of the existing January fixture on the World Rugby 7s Series.

In an interview with TV NZ, Jury says Fijian fans will turn out in thousands to support our 7s gladiators.

“The fans going to be hyped up and hundred times more excited than they are now. The instrument, they sing as go on and the flags is going to be very cool.”

Meanwhile, the Hong Kong 7s will be held from the 5th to the 7th of April.

Fiji are top seeds in Pool C and faces rivals New Zealand, Australia and Kenya.
