Baker to stay with USA 7s team

January 24, 2019 12:52 pm

USA 7s winger Perry Baker has dismissed claims of signing with French club Biarritz insisting his eyes is fixed on winning gold for USA at the Japan 2020 Olympic Games.

Baker told RugbyPass he has received offers to switch to the longer version of the sport, but the chance of becoming a medal winner at the Tokyo Games is keeping him in sevens.

The former American Footballer has been a key player for the USA 7s, currently leading the table standings with 38 points, followed by New Zealand with 37 and Fiji is in third place with 35 points.
