Fiji Airways 7s head coach Gareth Baber continues to stress discipline in the squad as they prepare for the Hong Kong tournament next weekend.

Baber says it is important that the players come with the right attitude and focus on the job at hand.

He says he has been monitoring individual players in camp and ensuring they maintain discipline on and off the field.

“A lot of that has to do with the behavior in the group. When it comes to training time making sure they stay discipline and the way they prepare and the way they focus at training. We often talk about the way you train is the way you play and if you come with the attitude in the training environment which doesn’t have the focus the come off the training field.”

Fiji is pooled with arch-rivals New Zealand, Australia and Kenya.

Fiji meets Kenya at 11.37pm next Friday in its opening pool match, they will then play Australia at 5.13pm Saturday before taking on New Zealand at 8.55pm.

The cup quarterfinals start at 2.58pm on Sunday, cup semifinal final begins at 7.41pm and the cup final kicks off at 11pm on Sunday.
