The Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber has made a change to his 12-member squad which won the Hamilton title, for the Sydney tournament this weekend.

Paula Dranisinukula has been dropped from the squad while Apenisa Cakaubalavu has made the cut in the team.

Cakaubalavu narrowly missed selection for Hamilton and Coach Baber applauds the young forward’s effort on the training track in pushing hard for a return to the tournament.

Baber says Cakaubalavu has again proven himself on the field this week and he knows the forward can do the job this weekend.

He adds Dranisinukula will step back into 13th man this week as they manage his workload and return to full strength.

Baber says they are fortunate to have this kind of depth in their ranks.

Baber reiterated all other squad members were at full fitness.

Skipper Kalione Nasoko will guide them in the forwards while Jerry Tuwai, Waisea Nacuqu and Vilimoni Botitu will play a vital role in the backline.
