Baber monitors new players

February 14, 2019 5:00 am

Fiji Airways men’s coach Gareth Baber is keeping his options open and hopes some new players will make it to the final squad for the next world 7s series leg.

Baber says he will monitor these players on how they react at camp and will make his judgment upon their performances.

Yes there’s a couple of players that I’ve seen and I want to see how they react to our environment what their fitness level are like, what their characters are like, how hard are they prepared to work, what their skill level’s like and putting them side by side along some of our players. Hopefully, we’ll get a gauge of how they’re operating and that’s what we’re doing at the moment and potentially yes you could see one or two new faces.”
