Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber is hoping to record his first back to back win with the side in Sydney this weekend.

Baber took up the coaching role for the national side in 2017 and has never won back- to- back in any tournament in the world 7s series.

He says consistency is what they lacked in and he is ensuring that they maintain what they had displayed in Hamilton over the weekend.

“We never managed that ever since I’ve been here to be able to win back to back tournament together. For us as a group when everybody is talking about winning but I’m talking about getting the repetition of our performance and as an international athlete I’m really focused on if we’re able to repeat our performance from last week.”
