Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber has been impressed with the accuracy and physicality of the players as they compete for a seat on the plane to the USA later this week.
The team are in camp in Sigatoka as they finalize preparations for the Las Vegas and Canada tournaments.
Baber believes consistency on the training pitch here in Fiji is crucial to on field success next week.
He says he was pleased with the players that joined the team last week which gives him more options as he knows the depth in selections can give them more strength and ability to pressurize their opponents.
Fiji faces Scotland in its opening match at 11.22am next Saturday, and will then battles Wales at 2.23pm before meeting Australia at 7.52am next Sunday in its last pool match.
