Aussie 7s ready for Fiji in Hong Kong

The Australia men’s 7s team is always excited to meet up with the Fiji Airways 7s side in any world 7s tournament.

Player Henry Hutchison says they’ve met Fiji in several tournaments and they now understand the Fijian style of rugby.

He says they’re looking forward to another crucial rugby fiesta this weekend.

“It’s a pool of death I guess and very physical pool with Fiji, NZ and Kenya and we enjoying playing Fiji and we have a click game plan when we play go out and Fiji and we played them last in Vegas.”

Hutchison says they are heading to Hong Kong this week, looking to win their first title at the iconic tournament since 1988.

Fiji is pooled with arch-rivals New Zealand, Australia and Kenya.

Fiji meets Kenya at 11.37pm on Friday in its opening pool match, they will then play Australia at 5.13pm Saturday before taking on New Zealand at 8.55pm.

The cup quarterfinals start at 2.58pm on Sunday, cup semifinal final begins at 7.41pm and the cup final kicks off at 11pm on Sunday.
