Delivering his speech during a function hosted by fans after the Las Vegas 7s, Serevi encouraged the players ahead of the next stop.
“We have to believe in yourself, pick your bags and get ready. The battle is not over yet, there is another tournament. It’s the fifth tournament, it’s halfway through the series you can still win this World Series.”
Serevi has also asked the fans to keep supporting players who sacrifice a lot while on tour.
“We don’t give dollars to the boys for them to win. It is just our job to give them the support including their families.”
