Former Fiji 7s coach Josateki Savou will take in-charge of the Fiji Baabas team as they prepare for the SUDAMERICA Cup in Argentina and Chile.

Savou says it’s good to be back in the 7s fold and hopes to guide the team to a win in the tournament next month.

“They gave me the opportunity to coach the Fiji Babas side and I have been working with Naca for the last month and there is good players in the team and looking forward to select the team tomorrow and also to take up the challenge.”

The tournament will feature teams from Argentina, USA, Canada, Chile, Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia.

The SUDAMERICA 7s will be played on 6th and 7th of January in Argentina and on the 14th and 15th in Chile.
