Sarawasti Primary School took out the Southern division Under 14 girl’s football competition played at the Fiji Football Academy grounds today.

The Rewa-based school was tied with Navua’s Vashist Muni College on 5 points at the end of the round robin stages but won with a better goal difference.

Other school’s that took part include Nehru Primary School of Suva and Korovou Primary from Tailevu.

Players also got to rub shoulders with Wellington Phoenix striker, Roy Krishna , who visited them during a break.

Krishna is camping with the national side for their clash against the Phoenix tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium in Suva.
