Samoans take underdog tags

Lupe Ole Soaga will start as underdogs against Vodafone Ba in a Group A match at Govind Park.

The Samoan club which stunned everyone with a 3-all draw against AS Pirae on Saturday know the task will become harder this afternoon against the co-hosts.

Lupe Ole Soaga coach Paul Ualesi says Ba will be a tough side to overcome.

“We will work hard and prepare for that and we know Ba is a tough team and they reach the semi-final last year. We expect a tough game and we will prepare for that.”

Match day three will be played in Suva and Ba today.

At the ANZ Stadium, Auckland City takes on Western United at 4.30pm and Suva battles Amicale at 7pm.

At Govind Park, Ba meets Lupe Ole Soaga at 4:30pm while AS Pirae faces Gaitcha at 7pm.
