The Samoa 7s side has breezed through its pool in the Pacific Energy Ovalau 7s in Levuka today.

The side beat Tauraga Red 43-0, thrashed Baravi 40-0 and later beat Bukawaqa 48-0 to book a spot in the Cup quarterfinals tomorrow.

In other results, last year’s losing finalist, Tauraga Gold beat Saint John 12-5 and Ovalau Two, 29-0.

Tauraga Red edged Baravi 15-12, Ovalau One beat Duavata 14-12 and Nabukawaqa One defeated Ovalau Two 12-0.

The Cup winner will collect $3000 while the runner up will receive $1500.
