Samoa names powerful team for Fiji Test

The Samoa rugby side has been named a powerful team to take on the Vodafone Flying Fijians in the Pacific Nations Cup match to be played tomorrow in the United States.

The side is laced with stars based abroad with the likes of hooker Motu Matu’u. TJ Ioane, Alesana Tuilagi, Paul Perez, Alofa Alofa and Jack Lam named in the starting team.

The biggest threat to the Fijians will come from wing Tuilagi, who has been in great form, this year.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians had their captains run this morning (Fiji time) ahead of the clash.

Coach John McKee has named a strong team with skipper Akapusi Qera back to lead the side.

The match starts at 12 noon.
