Vodafone Flying Fijians rugby skipper Akapusi Qera says his side was affected by certain factors in the 30-all draw against Samoa in the Pacific Nations Cup match on Saturday.

However, Qera says this will be put behind them when the side takes on Japan on Thursday.

He says the team needs to click in every game and get the results.

“I think the travelling took a toll and of course the weather and like I said before it was hotter than Fiji so it took a toll on our legs and took a bit of energy but good on the boys to finish it off.”

The Fiji-Japan match is at 10am on Thursday.

In other matches on the same day, USA plays Tonga, while Canada battles Samoa.
